Frequently asked questions...
Hopefully the FAQs below will give you a little more helpful information regarding my services.
Is a doula a medical professional?
No, I am not a medical professional. I will, however, refer you back to your, or your baby's, medical provider when required.

I have a nanny/housekeeper, why do I need a doula?
Having any kind of extended support at home is absolutely brilliant. Whilst a nanny and/or housekeeper will be fantastic at caring for baby and your home, as a doula, I am here to care for you. Additionally, I am here to help you be confident through competence. We will work together to ensure that when we have finished our sessions you feel as though you are confident in meeting yours, and babies, needs.

When should I book you?
This is totally up to you! I love to meet mamas during their pregnancy so that we can get to know each other and create a postpartum plan.

How long do you work with families?
Support is flexible! Some families book a few sessions in the early weeks, while others prefer ongoing care over several weeks. My goal is to provide the support you need for as long as you feel it’s helpful.

Can partners or family members be involved in the sessions?
Absolutely! Postpartum support is for the whole family, and I encourage partners and caregivers to be included if they’d like.

How do I book your support?
